Join us on two special nights for a parent/teen Sexuality Seminar hosted by Student Ministry and 180 Degrees Ministry. This is an 'abstinance until marriage' ministry designed to talk with parents and teens about consequences of premarital sex and also the beauty of marriage as God has designed it! 

You may be thinking, 'my student doesn't need to learn this yet, he is too young!' However, the average age that a student is introduced to sex is age 11. That means it's NOT too early. 

Now you may be thinking, 'this will make my student uncomfortable.' Again, don't worry! Jennifer Shelton and her husband Rich are experienced at speaking to youth of all ages and contexts, they regularly travel to local churches and public schools. They have come to Prince of Peace several times as well. 

Here are the essential details...

For Middle School families

When: February 8  
Time: 6:30-7:30 for parents / 7:30-8:30 for students
Where: Fellowship Center for parents /  Studio 6 for students 
*Note: these will be two separate seminars for parents and their children. Jennifer and Rich will speak with parents first, then talk with the students. Students will be split into gender-based groups.

For High School families 

When: February 15
Time: 6:30-7:30 for parents / 7:30-8:30 for students
Where: Fellowship Center for parents /  Youth Center for students 
*Note: these will be two separate seminars for parents and their children. Jennifer and Rich will speak with parents first, then talk with the students. Students will be split into gender-based groups.
