Lent is a time of reflection . . . a time when we consider and contemplate God's work for us. It's a 40-Day journey that we take each year, from Ash Wednesday to Holy Week. And it's a journey that begins with the ashes of mourning and takes us through Jesus' life and death before ending on Easter Morning with the shout of joy: "Allelulia, Christ is Risen!"

This year, our Lenten reflections will take us through the Old Testament narrative. Bit by bit, piece by piece, the story will unravel, reminding us of God's faithfulness and love that culminated on the cross. Along with the evening worship, we invite you and your family to join us on a 40-Day Bible Reading Challenge. Join us as we read through the key moments and big stories in the Old Testament that prepare the way for Jesus.

Each Wednesday our time together begins with a meal at 6pm in the Fellowship Center. Family worship will follow at 7pm in the Sanctuary.

March 21: “The Prophets" (Jeremiah 1:1-3:5)
Dinner: Small Groups - Submarine Sandwiches, chips, dessert

March 28: “Body of Proof" - A special apologetics presentation by Jeremiah Johnston of the Christian Thinker's Society. Dr Johnston will present the evidence for the resurrection. (Held in the Fine Arts Center/KidZone available up through Grade 5)
Dinner: Hamburgers/Hotdogs, corn on the cob, ice cream bar

April 5: Maundy Thursday - The Institution of the Lord's Supper. (worship only, 7pm)

April 6: Good Friday - The Commemoration of Jesus' Death. (worship only, 7pm)
