CREDO (Adult Confirmation)

Do you know what you believe? Do you know why it matters? Join our pastors for a four-week course in the fundamentals of Christian Theology and the Lutheran Confessions. This is a great refresher for long-time church members and a great starting point for those who are new to the church. 

Week 1: The Life of Faith
We explore the Work of Christ and what it means for us, together with the Apostles Creed, an ancient statement of faith in God. 

Week 2: The Spiritual Life
We explore what it means to experience the power and presence of God's life-giving Spirit through Baptism, Confession & Absolution, the Preaching of the Word and The Lord's Supper. These gifts of God comprise the rhythm of Worship and the Spiritual life, as we meet with God and receive His blessings each day. 

Week 3: The Life of Obedience
We explore the fundamental message of God's Word and discover how God's Word guides us in our understanding of daily life in this world. We'll look particularly at the 10 Commandments and the Lord's Prayer as guides for a daily life of obedience to God.

Week 4: The Missional Life
We explore the Mission of God and consider how the Great Commission is meant to be lived out by every Christian.
