Welcome to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. We're glad you're interested in the Prince of Peace community and hope we have the chance to talk with you some time soon. If you'd like a personal phone call or email, please fill out an information request or call us at 972-447-9887.
How to become a member:
1. If you are transferring your membership from another LCMS congregation, arrange a Letter of Transfer from that congregation to Prince of Peace.
2. Attend the 1-day New Member Orientation.
- Attend 8am worship.
- Attend the 9:30am orientation session.
- Go on a campus tour at 11am.
- Enjoy lunch with our staff at 12:30.
3. Attend the 4-week CREDO class (optional for LCMS transfers).
- An Adult Confirmation class covering the basic teaching of Christianity and the Lutheran Church.
4. Attend the New Member Sunday as we welcome and receive you into membership!
- Be welcomed in the worship service of your choice.
- Get your picture taken for the directory.
- Receive a goodie bag!
